A named grade, not a story

BAM's face is Kinetic T700 Composite , T700 carbon with fibreglass. T700 is a real Toray grade with a published datasheet, roughly 39% stronger in tension than the T300 used further down the market. We name it so you can check it. Face stiffness is the single biggest lever on pitch.

Foam, not honeycomb

BAM runs a 16mm EPP foam core with expanded polypropylene cutouts, inside an integrated edge guard. Core density and the bond to the face decide how long the note lives after contact. A foam core damps differently to the honeycomb most of this category ships.

Where the hand meets the note

Handle and wrap decide how much of the strike travels back into your arm instead of out into the air. It is the least glamorous part of a paddle and the one players actually feel on the two-hundredth ball.
